(Reading, Pa) - The Reading Fightin Phils have announced Pepsi MEGA BLAST Fireworks and STAR WARS Night will be held on Thursday, August 24th at 7:05 p.m. presented by Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Reading Area Community College and WIOV.

Fans can mark their calendars as the Fightin Phils will wear a specialty Star Wars themed jersey and hat for the game. Star Wars characters will be available for a pre-game meet & greet with fans. MEGA BLAST FIREWORKS - the LARGEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN STADIUM HISTORY will take place after the conclusion of the game.

It's also Celebrate Your Faith night. Faith based groups are invited to meet with Reading Fightin Phils players during a post-game faith discussion. During the gatherings, members of the Fightin Phils team discuss their faith and the role it plays in their lives as professional athletes striving to make it to the Major Leagues. Christian Rock Band Boundaries will be performing post-game. Christian Rock Band Boundaries features local Wilson High School seniors Jablaze Roman, Stephen Awurumibe and Watson Maack.
