Our 20's: McCleary Makes Hometown Proud in Final WHL Season
April 24, 2024 - Ryan McCleary was able to do something in his WHL career that not many players get to do, play and finish out their career in their hometown. As his WHL career and season has come to a close, Mcleary said he was proud of the way the team competed in the playoffs. April 23, 2024 - While he was only a member of the Swift Current Broncos for about four months, Tyson Galloway certainly made an impact on the city and his teammates. As the season has come a close for Galloway, and his WHL Career, he said the belief was there for this group to get it done. "I think it sucks at the end of the year," Galloway said. April 22, 2024 - A pair of Swift Current Broncos are off to their AHL clubs as the Calder Cup Playoffs get underway. Forward Conor Geekie is headed to Tucson to join the Roadrunners, while Defenceman Owen Pickering is off to join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Pickering just finished his third season with the Broncos. Four Broncos Alumni Chasing Stanley Cup in NHL Playoffs
April 22, 2024 - Four Swift Current Broncos alumni are taking part in the 2024 NHL Playoffs, with two of the four having been WHL Champions with the Broncos. Stuart Skinner, Beck Malenstyn, Adam Lowry, and Jake Debrusk are representing the Broncos with their respective NHL clubs. Lowry, the captain of the Winnipeg Jets, spent four seasons with the Broncos between 2009 and 2013. He was an Assistant Captain for the Broncos in 2011/2012 before being named Captain in 2012/2013.
