January 13, 2017 - Ralston, NE - The Lancers struck first, but an overtime goal by Kevin Charyszyn was the difference as the Black Hawks topped the Lancers 2-1 in overtime Friday night. Greg Printz continued his point-streak to five-games with an assist on the lone goal. Omaha lost in overtime for the fourth time this season. Lancers Trade D Herrmann to Odessa

January 12, 2017 - Ralston, NE - Omaha made another roster change on Thursday morning announcing the trade defenseman Zac Herrmann to the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL in exchange for future considerations. Herrmann, a Buffalo, New York native, appeared in 27 games recording two assists and four penalty minutes with a minus-3 rating. Lancers Add Scherer from Brown University, Trade Rons to Topeka

January 11, 2017 - Ralston, NE - The Lancers added a veteran presence on the blue line Wednesday morning announcing the acquisition of defenseman Will Scherer who had been playing with Brown University (NCAA) in the ECAC. Scherer, a '96 birth year, joins the Lancers after spending the last season and a half with Brown University.
