Erie Loses Close Back-and-Forth Game to the Attack

October 21, 2016 - Owen Sound jumped off to a quick lead when Jonah Gadjovich banked a sharp-angle shot off Erie goaltender Jake Lawr to put the Attack up 1-0 less than a minute into the first period. Though Erie did not register a shot on goal for the first six minutes of the game, Allan McShane scored his third of the season on a quick snap-shot in front of the Attack's goal. October 19, 2016 - The Erie Otters held on to win against Niagara 6-5 despite two late third period goals by the IceDogs. Erie had previously been defeated by Niagara 4-3 on October 6. Niagara scored first during an Erie power play that has surrendered two other shorthanded goals this season while struggling to score themselves.
