Atlanta Braves Make Spring Roster Moves

March 26, 2016 - LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Atlanta Braves trimmed their spring roster by four players today, optioning two players to the minor leagues and reassigning two to minor league camp. Left-hander Ian Krol and right-hander Ryan Weber were optioned to Gwinnett (AAA), while catcher Willians Astudillo and infielder Reid Brignac were reassigned to minor league camp. After serving in his first managerial role with the GCL Braves in 2015, Cancel returns to Danville where he served as a coach in 2014. Danville Braves Release 2016 Schedule

November 24, 2015 - DANVILLE, VA - The Danville Braves have announced the dates for their 2016 game schedule, their 24th season in the Advance Rookie Appalachian League. They will play a split schedule, with 34 games at home (American Legion Post 325 Field) and 34 games on the road.
