D-Braves Donate to Danville Veterans Memorial Fund

November 11, 2016 - DANVILLE, Va. - In recognition of Veterans Day, the Danville Braves presented the Danville Veteran's Memorial Fund with a donation of over $1,200. The D-Braves raised the funds by auctioning off game-worn military appreciation jerseys from the 2016 season. A total of $2,419.04 was raised through the auction, with half being donated to the Danville Veteran's Memorial Fund and half to the Camp Lejeune Fisher House. September 9, 2016 - DANVILLE, Va. - The Atlanta Braves announced their organizational Pitcher and Position Player of the Year awards Friday, with Jhon Martinez and Ramon Osuna taking home the honors for Rookie-level Danville. Martinez and Osuna will be honored in a special on-field presentation tonight prior to the Braves' game against the New York Mets at Turner Field in Atlanta. Braves Win Final Game of Season, Beat Royals 2-1

September 1, 2016 - In their final game of the 2016 season, the D-Braves defeated the Burlington Royals 2-1 thanks to a seventh inning RBI single from Ryan O'Malley and strong pitching from Ian Anderson, as well as the Braves bullpen. After two scoreless frames, the Royals scored the first run of the game in the top of the third via a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nicky Lopez. Braves Fall to Royals 4-0

August 31, 2016 - DANVILLE, Va. - Danville's offense was shutdown Wednesday night as the Royals won the second game in the series by a final score of 4-0. Burlington tallied the first runs of the game in the top of the third inning after three consecutive two-out hits. Jose Sanchez singled before coming around to score on a triple from Gabriel Cancel.
