September 7, 2016 - CURVE, Pa. - Altoona Curve outfielder Barrett Barnes has been named the Eastern League Player of the Month for August, the league announced on Wednesday morning. Barnes hit .360 (31-for-86) in 26 August games with eight homers, six doubles and 22 RBIs. He also scored 16 runs and compiled a .709 slugging percentage with a .434 on-base percentage.
