April 22, 2024 - FLINT, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced on Monday that 2024 first round pick Cole Zurawski has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the team. Firebirds Make Two Selections at 2024 U18 OHL Priority Selection

April 17, 2024 - FLINT, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds made two picks at the 2024 Under-18 Priority Selection on Wednesday night. Flint took defenseman Isaac Oldenhof with the sixth overall pick then added right wing Josh Bonnyman with the 26th. Oldenhof spent the 2023-24 season with the Markham Waxers U18 AAA, where he had 11 goals and 12 assists in 33 games played. He added two goals and five assists during 10 postseason games. Three Firebirds Listed on NHL Central Scouting's Final Draft Rankings

April 16, 2024 - FLINT, Mich. - NHL Central Scouting released its final 2024 NHL Draft rankings on Tuesday and three Firebirds appeared on the list. Left wing Nathan Aspinall tops the Flint skaters at number 102 among North American Skaters, center Kaden Pitre appears at 144 and defenseman Matthew Jenken is ranked 222.
