Four 1st Year Stingers Set to Join the Hive for the 2024 Season

April 16, 2024 - The Willmar Stingers announce the signing of four more players for the 2024 Northwoods League season. The Stingers will be adding two athletes from Indiana Wesleyan, Drue Young (Jr.) and Will Eldridge (So.). They will be joined by Paradise Valley Community College pitcher and Willmar local Ian Kossman. Rounding out the group is freshman catcher Jack Taxdahl from the University of Minnesota. Sojka and Baumgart Back, Stingers Welcome Gonzalez and Robertson to the Beehive

April 8, 2024 - The Willmar Stingers announce the signing of two returning and two first time Stingers. Willmar will be welcoming back Andrew Sojka (CSUN) and first year Stinger and fellow Matador Roberto Gonzalez. Joining them will be third year Stinger Andrew Baumgart (NDSU) and Alabama pitcher Tate Robertson. The Human Cannonball Returns to Willmar this Summer

April 1, 2024 - The Willmar Stingers have announced today the return of David "The Bullet" Smith to Bill Taunton Stadium this summer. David "The Bullet" Smith, known as The Human Cannon Ball, is a Guinness Book of World Records holder and was recently named into the Circus Hall of Fame. March 25, 2024 - The Willmar Stingers have partnered with MVTV Wireless to bring the Miracle Minute back to Bill Taunton Stadium this summer. The Miracle Minute provides an opportunity for groups and non-profits to raise funds for their cause courtesy of MVTV Wireless, the official internet provider of the Stingers.
