George and McCue Named to Final NHL Central Scouting List
April 16, 2024 - NHL Central Scouting announced today its final rankings for North American and International skaters and goalies for the upcoming 2024 NHL Draft. The Owen Sound Attack were well represented with two current players and two prospects making the lists. Carter George heads into the draft ranked 2nd among North American Goalies, while Sam McCue is the 178th ranked skater, Attack prospects Dean Letourneau and Austin Baker join McCue on the list of North American skaters at 23rd and 104th respectively... Attack Draw Spirit in OHL Western Conference Quarter-Final
March 24, 2024 - After clinching the seventh position in the OHL Western Conference on Saturday night, it came down to the final day of competition to determine who the Attack would play. On Sunday, the Saginaw Spirit made it interesting but the London Knights were able to defeat the Guelph Storm to clinch first place in the Western Conference. Attack Mourn the Loss of Joseph Holody
December 27, 2023 - The Owen Sound Attack is mourning the loss of former Owen Sound Platers owner Joseph Holody, who passed away on Wednesday, December 27th at the age of 96. Holody, along with the late Ray McKelvie, are responsible for bringing Major Junior hockey to the Scenic City, moving the then Guelph Platers to Owen Sound prior to the 1989-90 season. The Holody family would eventually sell the team to a group of local business owners and supporters that operate the team today. His name still resonates ...
