Omaha Falls to San Diego in Five Sets as Samedy Makes Supernovas Debut
April 24, 2024 - SAN DIEGO, CA. - The Omaha Supernovas (12-7) fell to the San Diego Mojo (8-9) in a 25-19, 17-25, 22-25, 25-21, 8-15 five-set thriller Tuesday night at Viejas Arena. The result means the Supernovas and Mojo have split the season series at two wins apiece with each team winning its home matches. Olympian and Supernovas' outside hitter Bethania de la Cruz led the team with 15 kills and a season-high 19 digs. She also added one block and her league-leading 26th ace of the season.
