Express Split East Coast Trip, Earn Win over Hurricanes, 111-93

April 24, 2016 - (HALIFAX, NS)- The Windsor Express (20-18) completed their East Coast trip against the number one team in the league, the Halifax Hurricanes (28-10) on Sunday afternoon. Windsor outscored Halifax in all four quarters, and sealed the win, 111-93. The Hurricanes were off to a quick start after a jumper from Billy White. Raise Your Hands Raises $13,000 for Area Schools

April 22, 2016 - (Windsor, ON) - The third season of our Raise Your Hands program was a big success. Twenty-four schools from WECDSB, GECDSB and CSC school boards participated, accounting for 2,500 tickets sold and $13,000 being donated back into Windsor and Essex County schools. Spitfires corporate accounts executive, Matt Haddad, says interest for Raise Your Hands has grown every year. Express Unable to Weather Hurricanes, 103-96

April 16, 2016 - (WINDSOR, ON)- The Windsor Express (19-17) came off a big win against the Miracles on Friday night, but could not win a second game in a row against the visiting Halifax Hurricanes (25-9). The Hurricanes dominated the second half of the game, earning a 103-96 victory Saturday night. Chris Commons lead the Express in scoring with 26 points, and added 10 rebounds for the double double.
