March 27, 2024 - Waterloo, Iowa - Current Black Hawks, Waterloo alumni, coaches, and fans all have rooting interests as the NCAA Division I hockey tournament begins Thursday. Eleven of the 16 qualifying teams include at least one former Waterloo Black Hawk, with a total of 21 previous Hawks on their collective rosters. March 26, 2024 - To Fargo for Two This weekend, the Black Hawks will be in Fargo for the only time during the 2023/24 regular season. The two-game set starts at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, then the teams meet again Saturday at 6:05 p.m. Waterloo is 0-2-1 against the Force this season. Jack Spicer Doubles Up
March 25, 2024 - Waterloo, Iowa - Waterloo Black Hawks veteran Jack Spicer won twice over the weekend, then claimed his second USHL Goaltender of the Week Award of 2023/24 on Monday. Spicer's performances bookended a three-win sequence from Friday through Sunday. With the 19-year-old in the crease to open the weekend, Waterloo topped the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 3-1 on the road. Hawks Finish Perfect Weekend
March 24, 2024 - The Waterloo Black Hawks rolled past the Tri-City Storm 7-1 on Sunday at Young Arena, earning their third win in three days. The victory clinches a Western Conference playoff bid. Now with three weeks remaining during the regular season, the Hawks are six points ahead of Tri-City for third place in the USHL Western Conference.
