Hawks Skate Past Stars, 6-0

February 19, 2017 - For the sixth time in seven February games, the Waterloo Black Hawks used an offensive barrage to outdistance an opponent, topping the Lincoln Stars 6-0 Sunday at Young Arena. The Hawks have scored at least five goals in all but one game during the month. The high-scoring night came while Peter Thome recorded 22 saves for his first United States Hockey League shutout. Postgame Recap: Overtime Goes to the Gamblers

February 15, 2017 - Chris Grando's breakaway goal 4:35 into overtime lifted the Green Bay Gamblers to a 2-1 victory against the Waterloo Black Hawks Tuesday at the Resch Center. The puck was worked loose from behind the Green Bay net and knocked out to neutral ice to create the overtime winner. Grando caught up with it, speeding up the slot to lift a shot to the top corner over Robbie Beydoun's right shoulder. Black Hawks Announce 2017 Futures Camp

February 14, 2017 - Waterloo, Iowa-More than 25 players born in 2000 are currently on United States Hockey League rosters and making their mark on the nation's top junior circuit prior turning 17. The group includes Waterloo defenseman Michael Ferrandino - the youngest player on the Black Hawks' roster when the season began in September.
