Chychrun Invited to WJC Selection Camp

December 1, 2015 - Hockey Canada announced their selection camp roster for the upcoming 2016 World Junior Championships, taking place in Helsinki, Finland, December 26 - January 5. Among the 30 players invited was Sting defenceman, Jakob Chychrun, who is off to a solid start in 2015-16, registering 16 points in 25 games and maintaining a plus/minus rating of +9. Kingston Beats Sarnia 4-1

November 29, 2015 - Goaltender Justin Fazio deserved a better fate as he was terrific in net for the Sting. Sarnia dropped their third straight game on the road, losing to the Kingston Frontenacs 4-1, Sunday afternoon at the K-Rock Centre. Fazio kept his team in the gameĀ all the way to the final. November 27, 2015 - Ottawa, ON - After falling short in Peterborough Thursday night, The Sarnia Sting travelled to Ottawa on Friday night for a tilt with the Ottawa 67's on DIFD night. The Sting fell by a score of 4-1 in the second game of a three game road trip. It was a busy night for the Sting penalty killing units, as the first 6 penalties of the game were charged to Sarnia.
