San Antonio FC Signs Goalkeeper Josh Ford

February 12, 2016 - SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has signed veteran Major League Soccer (MLS) goalkeeper Josh Ford for the upcoming 2016 USL season, the club announced today. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Ford spent four seasons with the Seattle Sounders (MLS) before being selected by Orlando City SC (MLS) in the 2014 MLS Re-Entry Draft. February 11, 2016 - SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that defenseman Mason Geertsen has been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets. Geertsen, 20, began the season with the Silver and Black, recording three assists and 34 penalty minutes in 29 games. He was reassigned to the Komets on Jan. 28 and has played in six contests, recording a goal - his first professional marker - on Jan. 31 in a 6-2 win over the Kalamazoo Wings. February 11, 2016 - SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has signed midfielder and Dallas native Danny Garcia for the upcoming 2016 USL season, the club announced today. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Garcia, 22, joins San Antonio from FC Dallas of Major League Soccer where he has been since signing a homegrown contract with the club in 2013. February 10, 2016 - CHARLOTTE - The San Antonio Rampage (22-21-7-0) swept a two-game series against the Charlotte Checkers with a 3-2 victory in front of 4,512 in Bojanles' Coliseum Wednesday night. Mikko Rantanen recorded a goal and an assist, earning him the First Star of the Game. The rookie sensation continued to shine, finishing with four total points in the two-game series.
