July 27, 2016 - RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the hiring of Josh Guenther as Athletic Therapist. Guenther comes to the Rebels after working the last three seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Prior to his time with the Wheat Kings, Guenther graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Kinesiology-Athletic Therapy in 2013. June 28, 2016 - RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced the selection of defenceman Alexander Alexeyev in today's Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Alexeyev will be a 17-year old this hockey season, although his birthday is not until November 15th, and will not be eligible for the NHL Draft until 2018.
