Vojtech Budik Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in 2016 NHL Draft

June 25, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce defenceman Vojtech Budik was drafted 130th overall by the Buffalo Sabres during the 2016 NHL Draft on Saturday in Buffalo, New York. In his first WHL campaign, Budik, 18, had three goals and 13 assists in 70 games played, while adding a goal in five playoff games. Three Raiders Invited to Hockey Canada's Summer Showcase

June 20, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - Three Prince Albert Raiders were invited to Hockey Canada's Summer Showcase on Monday. Goaltender Ian Scott will attend the national men's summer Under-18 team selection camp, while forwards Cole Fonstad and Carson Miller will take part in the Under-17 development camp. Scott is one of 44 players taking part in the Under-18 team selection camp running from July 29 to Aug. 2. The camp features practices as well as three intrasquad games. Raiders Announce 2016 Pre-Season Schedule

June 15, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders released their 2016 Pre-Season Schedule on Wednesday. The Raiders will play five pre-season games, beginning at the Regina Tournament on Sept. 2 against the Regina Pats. Prince Albert will also face off against the Saskatoon Blades twice, Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Broncos once. Last season, the Raiders won two of their six exhibition contests. Raiders sign deal with Prince Albert Minor Hockey Association

June 8, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce a five-year agreement with the Prince Albert Minor Hockey Association. Beginning this fall, the Raiders will sponsor PAMHA's Initiation hockey program. All of the IP teams in the program will be named the Raiders and will wear sweaters emblazoned with the Raiders' logo.
