Budik Returned to Raiders

September 27, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders got a significant piece back to their lineup. Import defenceman Vojtech Budik was returned to the Raiders by the Buffalo Sabres on Monday evening. Budik was drafted in the fifth round by the Sabres in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In 70 games during his rookie WHL season, the Holice, Czech Republic product notched three goals and added 13 assists. He added a goal in the Raiders' 2016 playoff run as well. Raiders Add Cameron Reagan

September 26, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders bolstered their blue line on Monday. The Raiders acquired 1997-born defenceman Cameron Reagan from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a conditional draft pick in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft. Reagan, who hails from Sherwood Park, AB, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft by the Blazers. September 24, 2016 - Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders were upended in their home opener on Saturday night, dropping a 4-2 game to the Regina Pats at the Art Hauser Centre. In front of 2,719 fans, the Pats scored three unanswered goals - starting with Lane Zablocki's marker at the 9:48 mark of the second period - to earn the win. Stransky Scores Twice in Overtime Win

September 24, 2016 - Regina, SK - Simon Stransky scored at the 2:57 mark of overtime to lift the Prince Albert Raiders to a 4-3 win over the Pats in Regina on Friday night in both team's first game of the 2016-17 WHL Regular Season. Stransky finished the game with three points and earned first star honours in his first appearance with the team since returning from training camp with the Boston Bruins.
