Petes Select Igor Martynov in Second Round of CHL Import Draft

June 28, 2016 - (Peterborough, ON) - With the 83rd overall pick in the 2016 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday morning, Petes GM Michael Oke selected Igor Martynov from Belarus. The 6'0", 181lbs forward played 34 games in the Belarus2 league in 2015/16, scoring 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points with Dinamo-Raubichi. June 28, 2016 - (Peterborough, ON) - With the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday morning, Petes GM Michael Oke selected Matyas Svoboda from the Czech Republic. The 6'3", 209lbs left wing played for KLH Chomutov in the Czech U18 league in 2015/16, recording 16 goals, 17 assists, 33 points, 20 penalty minutes and a rating of +20 in 27 games.
