Oshawa Generals Acquire Goalie Kyle Ketser from the Flint Firebirds

September 9, 2016 - The Oshawa Generals have acquired 1999 Goaltender Kyle Keyser from the Flint Firebirds in exchange for Flints 2nd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Draft. Last season with the Firebirds Kyle appeared in 17 games, recorded a 0.880 save percentage and won the OHL's Ivan Tennant Memorial Award for Top High School Academic Player. Nathan Torchia Commits to the Oshawa Generals

August 8, 2016 - Earlier today goaltender Nathan Torchia officially committed to the Oshawa Generals. Nathan was selected by the Generals during the 5th round of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft. He spent last season with the Waterloo Wolves Minor Midget AAA, where he collected 19 wins in 35 games played. He also posted a very strong .916 save percentage and 2.97 goals against average.
