Carbery Named Head Coach of Saginaw Spirit

June 21, 2016 - NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - After eight years in the Lowcountry, including five seasons as Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations for the South Carolina Stingrays, Spencer Carbery has accepted a new challenge. The Stingrays announced today that Carbery has been named the Head Coach of the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). June 10, 2016 - NORTH CHARLESTON, SC-The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, have completed a trade with the Toledo Walleye, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today. The Stingrays have traded the ECHL rights to defenseman Spencer Humphries to the Walleye to complete a previous trade that sent Stephan Vigier to South Carolina last October. June 3, 2016 - NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, have completed a trade with the Cincinnati Cyclones, Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today. The Stingrays have acquired the ECHL rights to defenseman Steve Weinstein to complete a trade that sent forward Colin Mulvey to the Cyclones in February.
