New Record for the Impact Soccer Schools Summer Programming

David Choiniere Signs MLS Contract with Impact

June 28, 2016 - MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that FC Montreal midfielder David Choinière has signed as an MLS Homegrown Player. The 19-year-old player took part in 12 USL games this season with the club's second team, scoring his first professional goal in a 2-1 loss against Bethlehem Steel FC on May 15. He also picked up an assist in a 2-1 win over the Richmond Kickers on May 28. He is the first player to successfully make the jump from FC Montreal to an MLS contract with the Impact.... Full Story

Impact Waives Defender Maxim Tissot

June 28, 2016 - MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that the club has waived defender Maxim Tissot. "We had to make this decision to free up a spot on our roster, allowing us to sign another player," said Impact technical director Adam Braz. "We want to thank Maxim for his services to the first team in recent MLS seasons. We wish him all the best going forward." June 26, 2016 - MONTREAL - Despite dominating in terms of scoring chances, FC Montreal lost 3-1 against Orlando City B on Sunday afternoon at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex. Montreal created three chances to score in the first 10 minutes of the game. The clearest one came on a cross from Zachary Sukunda for Anthony Jackson-Hamel, who put his header on target.
