August 2, 2016 - HARTFORD, Vt.- The Vermont Mountaineers will live to fight another day. The Mountaineers split their double header with the Upper Valley Nighthawks on Tuesday, and the Winnipesaukee Muskrats lost in 12 innings to force a four-way tie for the fourth and final playoff spot in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). August 1, 2016 - HARTFORD, Vt.- Monday's New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) doubleheader scheduled between the Vermont Mountaineers and Upper Valley Nighthawks has been postponed due to rain. It is supposed to rain for much of the day in the White River Junction area, which will likely make the field unplayable. July 31, 2016 - HOLYOKE, Mass.- The Valley Blue Sox scored three runs in the second inning on Sunday to top the Vermont Mountaineers 3-1 in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).
