October 24, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats announced today they have released forward Ilya Putintsev. The Wildcats claimed Putintsev off waivers from the Halifax Mooseheads in mid-September to add to their forward group, with Mika Cyr still injured. Since then, he has appeared in the Wildcats lineup for eight games, during that time recording three assists. October 22, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - Tonight was the final game of pink in the rink weekend, in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as the Wildcats took on the Val d'Or Foreurs at the Coliseum. October 21, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - Tonight was the Wildcats first game of our annual pink in the rink weekend here at the Coliseum. Coming up short tonight on home ice, the Wildcats lost this one 4-1 to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in front of 3802 fans. Wildcats Acquire Forward Dakota Miskolczi

October 20, 2016 - MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats have acquired forward Dakota Miskolczi off waivers from the Shawinigan Cataractes. Born in Fort Errie, Ontario, Dakota is an 18-year-old forward who was a fifth round pick of the London Knights in 2014. After playing only three games with the team during their Memorial Cup year, he would spend the remainder of the season with the Fort Erie Meteors of the GOJHL, recording 22 points in 29 games.
