May 27, 2016 - MANCHESTER, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (20-26) pounded out eight runs on 10 hits, but took a heart-breaking 9-8 loss to the Reading Fightin' Phils (33-15) in 13 innings on Friday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The Fisher Cats scored seven unanswered runs to take a 7-4 lead into the ninth inning, but a three-run homer from Aaron Brown evened the score at 7-7 and forced extra frames. May 27, 2016 - MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Toronto Blue Jays have announced a series of New Hampshire Fisher Cats roster moves, including the signing of 2013 World Series Champion and former Boston Red Sox catcher Ryan Lavarnway. A sixth-round draft pick out of Yale in 2008, Lavarnway played in 97 games with the Red Sox from 2011 - 2014, and hit .299 during Boston's 2013 World Series Championship season.
