Kitchener Rangers Name New Associate Coach

July 28, 2016 - The Kitchener Rangers announced Thursday they have named Jason Fortier as associate coach of the club. Fortier spent the 2015-16 season as an assistant coach with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he helped guide the club to a QMJHL President Cup, going 16-4 in the postseason. July 18, 2016 - The Kitchener Rangers announced today that forward Cedric Schiemenz has committed to an Ontario Hockey League standard player agreement with the club. Schiemenz was the team's first round pick (47th overall) in the 2016 CHL Import Draft. The 5'11, 155lb Berlin, Germany native was drafted from EC Red Bull Salzburg U-18, where he registered 14 goals and 28 points over the course of 23 regular season games, as well as a combination of four goals and 11 points in 13 playoff and tournament contest... Ten Rangers Participating in NHL Development Camps

July 6, 2016 - The Kitchener Rangers have a total of ten returning/recently graduated players selected to participate in NHL prospect and development camps this offseason. Adam Mascherin, Connor Hall and Connor Bunnaman (all selected in the 2016 NHL Draft last month) were invited to attend camp with the Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers, respectively.
