Blazers Have Seven Players at NHL Development Camps

July 6, 2016 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have seven current roster players and two recently graduated players that have attended NHL Development Camps in the early part of July. In Dallas, Nick Chyzowski is attending his first NHL Development Camp. The 19-year-old had 15 goals and 25 points playing in all 72 games last season. Blazers Select Rudolfs Balcers in CHL Import Draft

June 28, 2016 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have selected 19-year-old forward Rudolfs Balcers 43rd overall in the CHL Import Draft. Balcers is a fifth round selection of the San Jose Sharks in the 2015 NHL Draft. The 5'11" and 165lb forward has played the past two seasons with the Stavanger Oilers in Norway's top pro league. Balcers had 15 goals and 24 points in 43 games last season as the youngest player on his team. He added 10 points in 17 playoff games which was third in scoring for Stavanger.... Full Story

Blazers Regular Season Schedule Released

June 27, 2016 - Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will kick off the 2016-17 regular season with a home-and-home series with the Kelowna Rockets. The two teams will play in Kamloops on Friday, September 23rd and in Kelowna on Saturday, September 24th.
