Mooseheads Host Pink in the Rink 9 Friday 7pm

October 20, 2016 - The Halifax Mooseheads will entertain the defending QMJHL Champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Friday night at 7pm in the annual Pink in the Rink game. This marks the ninth edition of Pink in the Rink at Scotiabank Centre in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Atlantic Region with the team and its fans having raised more than $120,000 to date. The Club welcomes 6'8", 219lb wing CJ Washington to the team. Born in Demopolis, Atlanta, the 24 year old forward starred at Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College from 2011-13 and played college ball with the University of Alabama - Birmingham Blazers for two seasons. Lavoie Chooses to Return to Midget AAA

October 14, 2016 - Mooseheads rookie forward Raphael Lavoie has left the club to return to Midget AAA with Gaulois du Collège Antoine Girouard where he produced 26 points in 42 games last season. Lavoie, who turned 16-years-old last month, is fully supported in his decision by the Halifax Mooseheads. General Manager Cam Russell made Lavoie the 29th overall pick in June's QMJHL Entry Draft in Charlottetown.
