Albert Michnace Commits to Storm

August 25, 2016 - GUELPH, ON - The Guelph Storm are pleased to announce the commitment of the team's second round 2016 CHL Import Draft selection, Albert Michnac. The 5"10', 170-pound Czech forward was taken 62nd overall in the CHL Import Draft. Michnac played his 2015-16 season with Sparta Praha in the Czech U18 and U20 team. Storm Acquire Picks from Saginaw for C.J. Garcia

August 22, 2016 - The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that they have acquired a 3rd Round Pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection, a 2nd Round Pick in 2019 and a 4th Round Pick in 2020 from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for defenseman C.J. Garcia. Garcia was acquired by the Storm during the 2014-15 season. July 25, 2016 - GUELPH, ON - With the 2016 NHL Entry Draft behind us and the 2016-17 season quickly approaching, NHL Central Scouting has compiled a list of players to keep an eye on for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft. City, Guelph Storm announce new 10-year agreement

July 22, 2016 - Guelph, Ont. - Today, Mayor Cam Guthrie and Guelph Storm Partner and Governor Rick Gaetz announced a new 10-year agreement that will keep the team in Guelph until 2026.
