Komets Announce 2016-17 Schedule

April 28, 2016 - Fort Wayne, IN - The Komets announced their 2016-17 schedule Thursday. Fort Wayne's fifth season in the ECHL begins with a home-and-home series against the Quad City Mallards. After the Komets open the season at Quad City Friday, Oct. 14 they will return to Fort Wayne for their 65th home opener Saturday, Oct. 17 against the Mallards at 7:30pm. TinCaps Come Back in 9th, Walk Off in 10th

April 26, 2016 - FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The TinCaps overcame a 4-1 ninth-inning deficit to defeat the Peoria Chiefs, 5-4, in 10 innings on Tuesday night at Parkview Field. With two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th, Kodie Tidwell singled to center field to plate Ty France for the win. The victory ended a four-game losing skid. Fort Wayne (10-9) had lost in walk-off fashion four times in their first 18 games, including its last time out on Sunday, before turning the tables on Peoria (8-10). ... Full Story
