Cast of RedHawks Soaring to the Swamp

November 18, 2015 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The strong tradition of RedHawk baseball in Fayetteville will continue in the 2016 season, as the Fayetteville SwampDogs have announced the signing of three players from Southeast Missouri State University. Right-handed pitcher Clay Chandler, outfielder Chris Osborne, and left-handed pitcher Adam Pennington will trade RedHawk red and black for SwampDogs blue and green during the summer. Ninth Annual Trunk-Or-Treat Returns this Friday

October 27, 2015 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Ghouls, goblins, ghosts and Fun-Go. The SwampDogs Trunk-or-Treat will have them all this Friday, October 30th at J.P. Riddle Stadium. The free event takes place from 5 pm to 7 pm followed by a costume contest on the field. October 20, 2015 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Special Olympics of Cumberland County has recognized the Fayetteville SwampDogs with the Outstanding Organization Award for 2015. The SwampDogs also received this honor in 2013 and 2014. SwampDogs 2016 Schedule Announced

October 5, 2015 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Coastal Plain League has announced its 56-game schedule for the 2016 season, with the Fayetteville SwampDogs sporting 31 home games. The season will begin on Tuesday, May 31st and end on Monday, August 8th, with playoffs to follow. The SwampDogs will begin the home portion of their 16th season with a Wednesday evening matchup against the Wilmington Sharks on June 1st.
