Jeimer Candelario helped the Iowa offense with a 2-for-5 game with a home run and three RBI. July 27, 2016 - METAIRIE, LA - The Iowa Cubs (45-60) bounced back from a loss last night to take a decisive 8-2 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs (48-54), Wednesday at Zephyr Field. The Iowa pitching staff dazzled, holding the Zephyrs to six hits and a single earned run. A five-run second inning put Iowa on top early and for good. July 26, 2016 - METAIRIE, LA - With the strength of a six-run third, the New Orleans Zephyrs (48-53) managed a 9-5 victory over the Iowa Cubs (44-60) in the series opener, Tuesday at Zephyr Field. The Zephyrs tallied 15 hits with seven of eight position players collecting multiple hits in the contest.
