Iowa Energy Announce 2016-2017 Promotional Schedule

October 26, 2016 - Des Moines, Iowa- The Iowa Energy announced their 2016-17 promotional schedule today. Highlighting the team's 10th anniversary season is the return of $2 beer on all Saturday nights, two post-game concerts and five national halftime shows. October 25, 2016 - DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Wild (2-4-0-0, 4 points) was defeated by the Cleveland Monsters (3-2-0-0, 6 points) 7-3 on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Cleveland forward Markus Hannikainen registered a hat trick to help lead his club to a road win. October 22, 2016 - DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Wild (2-3-0-0, 4 points) defeated the Charlotte Checkers (1-3-0-0, 2 points) 2-1 on Saturday night in front of 4,969 fans at Wells Fargo Arena. Wild goalie Alex Stalock (1-3-0) made 35 saves in the rematch win over the Checkers. Forwards Grayson Downing and Adam Gilmour helped lead Iowa to victory.
