July 28, 2016 - CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Independence today announced an amateur contract signing with Charlotte Soccer Academy goalkeeper Andrew Pannenberg. Carlos Sanchez Recalled to Chicago

July 27, 2016 - LOUISVILLE, KY-- Infielder Carlos Sanchez, who is third all-time in Charlotte Knights franchise history in hits with 347, has been recalled by the Chicago White Sox today. Sanchez will take the roster spot of White Sox infielder Brett Lawrie, who was placed on the team's 15-day disabled list (retroactive to July 22) with a strained left hamstring. July 25, 2016 - CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Hounds of Major League Lacrosse today announced that defender Ryan Flanagan has been placed on Injured Reserve, Season Ending. Flanagan suffered a knee injury in the third quarter of the Hounds' 12-11 loss to the Denver Outlaws at American Legion Memorial Stadium on Saturday, July 23. July 23, 2016 - CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Hounds on Saturday night fell 12-11 to the visiting Denver Outlaws at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
