Thomson Set to Make Wheat King Debut

November 27, 2015 - The 19-year-old Wawanesa defenceman was acquired from the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday evening in exchange for 18-year-old defenceman Mark Taraschuk. In a telephone call late Wednesday evening, Thomson said he was thrilled with the news. "The best way to describe it is a dream come true for me," Thomson said. November 25, 2015 - Brandon, MB. - The Wheat Kings and Prince George Cougars have completed a Western Hockey League trade Wednesday. The Wheat Kings have dealt 20-year old Luke Harrison to the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a ninth round selection in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. In six games with the Wheat Kings this season, the 6'1" 204 lb native of West Kelowna, B.C. had two goals.
