Lets start the guessing now as to where the Fayetteville Patriots(NBDL) team will be moved to next year. I was really shcoked we had the team this year but there is no way it will be back. Way to go Fayetteville another team you will lose Crying or Very sad

Surely there's a link that prompted this outburst.

I think a little less than highly of the logic here, BTW. It's not like any of the OTHER original NBDL cities really got attached to their teams. The way the NBDL appears to be "migrating" westward, it's probably only a matter of time before the Patriots are gone, anyway.

After all, as an example, I'd like to think that midseason ABA foldings reflect the idea that fans in those markets were smart enough to smell a rat and stay away. Maybe Fayetteville is to be commended for avoiding the kind of the artificial manner the NBA went about things with this venture (leads to questions about how things are structured in the new cities, but that's for another thread).

I heard they had a decent showing for their home opener. I in the area, but didn't make it. I am planning on checking them out though. I heard some teams are owned by the nba and some by private owners. How does that work?

we are owned by the league but they want to sell the teams they own. I have not heard of anyone in the area stepping up to make an offer for the team. I know all of our other local teams have local owners. Not sure if anyone in the area has the kinda money they would be asking for the team
