Green Bay Bombers League: Indoor Football League 1 (IFL 1) Home: Green Bay, Wisconsin Active: 1998-2000

Originally a member of the Professional Indoor Football League, the Bombers and Madison Mad Dogs were shifted to the IFL by owner and league founder Keary Ecklund. The Bombers parlayed a 9-3 finish in 1999 to a playoff berth and a shocking championship game upset of the heavily favored Peoria Pirates. A 10-4 record in 2000 earned Green Bay another playoff berth, but a second round loss kept them from repeating as league champs.
