A mistake from the very beginning, the Monsters wove a tale of broken promises and unpaid debts in their brief existence. The team stumbled through week seven of the PIFL season before dropping out altogether. Their only win, a 42-20 thumping of Honolulu, was erased when PIFL Commissioner Dick Suess declared the game a forfeit, a result of unpaid league dues by the Monsters owners.
