Billings Thunderbolts League: Indoor Football League 1 (IFL 1) Home: Billings, Montana Active: 2000

One of the IFL's 2000 expansion teams, the Thunderbolts set up shop in Billings as part of the IFL's westward expansion. Upon the IFL's sale, arenafootball2 opted not to place a franchise in the city. Instead, a new ownership group established the Billings Outlaws in the National Indoor Football League.
