Thanks you!
Great.
Are you going to update your website's schedule to note the disappearance of Rock River, Quad City and Flint from the official team sched? Also, have you checked that some games you will play against the Detroit Panthers don't match up with the Detroit schedule on the Panthers' website?
Wow, great idea. I am going to announce our free agent camp on a message board. Thanks for reminding Chuck, A1 and WFA that they should get the shoes ready to run the floor. Are guys that thirsty for attention?
So Mr. Rochester, You are in this league because? Did you call Quad city/Rockford? Did you call any of the teams that left this league and went to other leagues? Did you check on all the law suits the league has? Call any sports editors to ask then what they think of the ABA?
Isn't it obvious? Joe announced the "Rochester" franchise after the Razorsharks left this cesspool of a league, then muddied the market by claiming that a new Rochester franchise would join the ABA - only to have it be "Rochester, Minnesota" a couple of days later.
Believe me, if he could have found a Maryland, North Dakota, there would have been a new "Maryland knight-hawks" or something like that. Surprisingly, the team wasn't named the "Ripney's" or something like that - best to kill two birds with one stone.
Essentially, the Rochester Fire would not have come into the ABA had not the Rochester Razorsharks left. Plain and simple.
Rochester is holding a try-out? Surprise, surprise. Let me guess, $150 to be "evaluated" and play hoops for 3-4 hours. No checks, only cash or money orders please. Well, you can ALWAYS count on Dance Team Try-outs AND Player Try-Outs in the life of an ABA owner ........and one of these days we will get a complete season. In any event, the ABA business model is that you hold try-outs for revenue and games when the players get out of work. These try-outs are SUCH a scam!
