ABA the tipping point

You know, its actually easier to go forward than back. Joe has at least got the league set up, web site up, teams in league and enough inertia that the league is still opporational.

I'm at the thought now that the point of no return has been passed, its actually a _____ of a lot easier to turn this circus into a legit league than it is to fold it.

It certainly is a lot easier to turn this ABA into a viable league than start up a brand new league.

Joe might come on here and Tom Chichest06er might come on here and Brad might come on here and Corning and Darren Ciofi and various other Jo-Bots might show up and defend the ABA, but they have too. FOr some inexplicable reason they have either thrown their hat in the Newman corner or (worse) handed Joe a 10k check for a "Market Reservation but the fact that Joe has scronged this pile of guys (and girls) up (ohhh and a lady named 'Mother') off of the dance floor.


I just truly hope that Joe hasn't single handedly done to b-ball what others in hockey, indoor soccer, arena football and the NLL have wanted to do and killed the game of minor league hoops.

Why these people continually hand this man money in a MLM-Ponzi-pyramid league is beyond me. But lets hope the Jo-Bots can at least field teams and play some games.


(BTW- MLM is not minorleagueman, its multi level marketing. Which depending on your legal view of business practises' goes is either legal, illegal or a complete scam)

Amway, DS-Max, Cydcor, ACN, Pre-Paid Legal Services, Kirby. All ponzi, but legal.

Hiiiiiiiiii Joe.......................hows it going? Good to hear from you. No I've never read this book, but I'm sure its good if you are recommending it. I did read another good book called A FOOL and his money...... by Darren Tomczak about people who got too greedy.


MLM is legal if you are trading an actual good or service. If you are not it is a true pyramid scheme and highly illegal. Amyway is legal because you are actually selling stuff. Investing 10k and then getting 10 friends to invest 10k and they go and get another 10 suckers/friends to invest 10k and you are getting a cut is a true ponzi scheme. There is no good or service being exchanged, its merely a moneymaking scheme as long as suckers keep coming in.
