Default USBL Franchises

OK, maybe I am off. But if the USBL attendance is so down, how is it that the Brooklyn Kings are wanted as a farm team by 4 NBA teams. Donnie Nelson Jr. stated that Mark Cuban would gladly pay $1MM for this franchise. Why is that? Why are the Kings worth $1 million and most leagues not worth half that? Why is OK and Brooklyn demanding HUGE $$$ attention from the NBA???

Default Nets?

Maybe the Nets want the Brooklyn Kings name as part of their move to Brooklyn.

It is an excellent franchise name.

Actually word has it that the 2 USBL franchises, OK and Brooklyn are being looked at HEAVILY by 4 NBA owners, however, they are forbidden from owning minor league teams not affiliated with the NBA.

I find this odd due to the fact the neither are attendance powerhouses, but BOTH seem to have something the other teams (CBA, ABA, etc) do not. The rumor from a trainer with the Mavericks is that Cuban sees the Kings as the premiere minor league franchise. The reason on this I have GOTTA here.

There is some sort of prohibition on owners that prevents them from owning both NBA and USBL teams. That is why Westchester folded - their owner bought into the NJ Nets and could not find a buyer for them.
