Just got word, the MIFL (Minnesota Indoor Football League), a semipro league that was upposed to start in March of 2012, will now be starting in 2013.
What sucks is that I really dont believe this will ever play one down. It's sad because we haven't had this brand of ball since 1998 (Mn Monsters).
I don't think anyone ownes the teams. It's just the guy who made up the league. I'm not sure he's even come close to take all the steps to make this thing work. I hope he does tho, because I'd like to see that kind of football up here too.
I know, this isn't going to be anything big at all. As i said, its still indoor football which hasn't been played in Minnesota in years.
It's not the AFL or even the IFL, but its better then nothing.

I dont have any experience in team operatins, but i would loveto help out in some small way. I haven't gotten ahold of him at all. Willing to help to get this off the ground.
