protected list
What will the players included in protected list?
My prediction:
Kebs: Royce Parran, Louie McCroskey, Aaron Spears, Quinnel Brown, Yannick Anzuluni (These last two with few options to returning)
Rainmen: Marshall Brown, Taliek Brown, Travon Lathan, Josh Dollard (unlikely to return), DeAndre Thomas
Mill Rats: Anthony Anderson, Marc Egerson (unlikely to return), Dwuan Rice, Jeffrey Ferguson, Terry Martin.
PD: On the other hand, Jeffrey Ferguson, Benson Callier (Edmonton Energy) and DeAndre Thomas (Albany Legends) have not won the title IBL'11.

I would love to see MRR in this league. His teams were always the best, plus he's entertaining even to see on the sidelines.

The protected list must be submitted before the draft ... Rob Spon is not interested in NBA players, he prefers players who are in full season to a championship team ... Spon want to include in that list some of the players from last season ... Adam Harrington and Jean-Phillipe Morin could return to KEBS ...

Rainmen protected list
The Rainmen owner and general manager said Wednesday that, barring any unforeseen circumstances in the next 11 days, his list of untouchables will include guards Taliek Brown and Trayvon Lathan, forwards Josh Dollard and Eric Crookshank, and centre DeAndre Thomas.
Almost full, Eric Crookshank enters for Marshall Brown

Josh Dollard plays for Leones de Santo Domingo (Domincan Rep.)
Thanks

That's not a bad core. T. Brown is a great point guard. Laython is a good shooting guard or small forward, NOT A POINT GUARD. Dollard could be something special and Thomas showed some promise in his second stint with Halifax.
I love Crookshank's game, but he was a wasted pick. The guy is way too settled in Halifax. He would never report to another team. Marshall Brown should have been protected. He is a legit player at this level.

The leagues founding teams, the Mill Rats, the Halifax Rainmen and the Quebec Kebs, all have the option of protecting five members of their rosters from last season. Those players will be exempt from the draft. The Mill Rats will protect guards Anthony Anderson, Dwuan Rice and Marc Egerson along with forwards Steve DeLuca and Ross Demasi.

Jeffrey Ferguson left out? perhaps the best Canadians can purchase to take one of two Canadian quota places. Unless Ferguson is one of the two elections of the next draft (the other could be, again, Mike Anderson). Moreover, Dwuan Rice has committed to a German team.
PS: it appears that Anthony Anderson will return next season, what the fans towards the port city should be happy, even more so if it comes hand in hand with his brother Antonio Anderson.
Thanks.
