Default travel teams, how about home only teams

Seems like there has been an expectation of the concept of a "travel only" team in indoor football. It really makes no sense as there is zero potential for revenue.

What would make more sense is year one teams to be "home only" teams. They put up a bond to bring in second year teams, covering the travel.

Yes, in this scenario a first year team would only have 6 or so games where as the second year teams would be eligible for a full 12 games.

It's not like many of these teams are traveling anyways. Seems a majority of the games in this league is the home team vs some local amateur team.

Interesting (scratching my head) how much could we charge a team for half seasons.

The Lord told me anywhere from full price to double, after all the money saved with no travel they can afford it more than the teams with a road sched.

Right!
Maybe we can have the home team play the reserve team in wk one,
the injured resv team in wk two and in the 3rd home game entertain
those cut in pre season. That might be a good revenge game. Then switch
'em around. The home team can visit the reserve team well... you get the idea.
Sounds like a great bizz plan for SIFL. I think it will be instituted for next yr.

On the second day the lord also added in the plan of giving the home-only (not to be confused with homeopathic) teams 6 forfeit wins so that all teams would have played the same amount of games on the league website, making it look more credible.
