jose canseco - yuma - nal - gbl
this will probably be the comissioner / olympic swimmer's Kevin Outcalt's last kick at selling this soap opera . he sued Jose for about $250,000 and even had him served at a gbl game , and now hires him ??? jose actuallly has more credibility than slim shady K.O. / Outcalt's only reason for keeping this alive is to justify his winter league where he charges young boys $3800 for the right to play and hopefully be drafted into his league. last season owners had private conf calls without KO looking for ways out . it appears that other readers-posters are aware of this guy's antics . the END is NEAR of this poor excuse for indy pro ball.

Funny, funny stuff. The Cansecos are going to move to Yuma, Arizona and live and work in the community? Sure they are.

@ All 3 of you!!! I'm Speechless..
I love it that others in here know Mr. K.O. or should I say slim shady, well not so slim anymore, ok enough on K.O. other then he is such an idiot and such an imposter and **** talker after they sued Canseco like you said. He and Kaval came back to Yuma all excited that they won the lawsuit against him (Canseco) and how bad the guy is and calling him every name in the book, so sad this is how Indy Ball has to see it, as it should be fun for families and give it up for K.O. on spreading the disease of over charging kids to play in both the AWL/ASL which he pays mgrs $100 a pop to draft the poor player and thats why they have over 50 every year drafted, I know for a fact and I am 100% right!
How can a parent put $3500 or $3800 on a card and have them come to this joke of a winter league, can someone please explain to me and how can we stop it?

slim shady - gbl - yuma
Yuma heat - all good points and comments . this new version of the NAL is so watered down that MORE of the a.w.l. plyrs will be selected , which will make the plyrs who paid $3800 OR MORE happy as they are now "drafted" to play pro ball - - - - - however the real test will be when FANS see this stuff on the field , ie juco plyrs , not true Pro Plyrs, and the ticket sales will dry up immediatley . thus bringing an end to this little experiment .
Of course teams like Maui and ALL of the TEXAS teams will greatly assist in the premature death of this league as none of these TEAMS have any operational capital. Mark my words - Maui will hv some interesting storys (actually they already do) . The final chapter will be the AWL will cease to operate once this little scam of Outcalts et al is exposed . & funny little man Jose Melendez who once stated he owned the laredo broncos of the u.l.b. and then partnered with the owners of the u.l.b. - NOW ends up in yuma??? ya he's a real baseball guy !! NOT .
on another post lets talk about the previous victims of SlimFast........sorry Outcalt ie the previous owner of the OCFlyers , STGRoadrunners . and how the g.b.l. and Outcalt stuck them up in a dark alley .

Awl
The AWL is great compared to the california winter league. the cali league had nobody so pitchers had to pitch for multiple teams. i feel like i learned nothing there and i certainly didnt get signed. ive played in the awl for two years and loved it. mangers are great there. i got signed after my first year, but not this year. i stayed with the team all season. you have to think about it, 3800 ain't bad considering it covers your room, meals, and instruction for an entire month. it can't be cheap to rent the stadium, the rooms, provide meals, and pay the coaches for a month. ill be back in Yuma in 2012 most likely. dont know much about the canseco thing but good luck to them in Yuma. should be interesting
