New CIFL team in Grand Rapids but not owned by the Pringles, They are great people but will not own this team. And as long as Andre White is not there also. More on him very soon. And why he was run out of Saginaw as owner of the Sting, maybe trying to get into other side of state BUT WILL NOT Happen. Jeff stilll will not answer his phone regarding FT Wayne

No press conference from W Michigan regarding new team. Old team doesn't have a contract with Arena yet for up coming yr.

At this point when it comes to a Grand Rapids team playing any sort of inside football, I'm taking the stance of, "I'll believe it when I see it."

IF there is a team actually looking to play in 2011, they better plan to completely flood the media with advertisements, otherwise there's just no way they can hope to attract enough fans to keep a balanced budget. Two/three months of "ramp-up" time isn't nearly enough.

I have heard nothing about the Raptors coming back. Messages sent via their website are not answered after an automated reply says someone will contact me in the next few days. And the phone is no longer in service.

The Bob Lowe enterprises that owns them have sold the womens fast pitch pro league Thunder team. Kind of. Sounds like he just gave them up to the league.

I think the Lowe budget Raptors are done.

They moved from the 8 man league UIF to the 7 man CIFL to save money. I guess they could not find a 6 man league.

Too bad. Only sport of any note played in Metrocentre now is way too boring soccor on ice. IE: AHL hockey.
