How does everyone feel about the Hartford Wolfpack changing names midseason to the Connecticut Whale? I must say, I think it is pretty cool. There is a contingency of folks up here in CT who have been reeling since the days of the Whalers "harpooning." I understand that having an AHL team with a similar name does not bring the NHL back to the nutmeg state, but at least it's something.

No one has answered you. I think it is a great new name and I wish your city of Hartford and the state of Connecticut the best of luck getting back into the NHL again. As a Buffalo Sabres fan in Buffalo I am behind your city and states efforts getting NHL hockey again. I think your team is on the right track with Howard Baldwin. Let's Go Buffalo

very few fans agree w/ the assessment/takeover of the Wolf*Pack by Baldwin, et all, it's actually defeating the purpose of the Pack distancing themselves from the Whaler/Hurricane era ; remember Norwich TRIED tht and where are they now, BSF, Richmond
