Default Can this be true information on the NIFL

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sport...orts-headlines

The NIFL prides itself on contributing to its various communities. With the help of sponsorship and season-long promotional campaigns, the league contributed $18 million to its local school districts in its Sports for Education Program last year.

That number is expected to be between $26 million and $28 million this year or between $250,000 and $400,000 per team. That money is used in the team's local communities as well. So, for example, all the money the Kreatures raise will go into Osceola County schools.

Can this be true information NIFL fans. How do teams operating on a fixed budget have the money to spend on charities.

Thanks,

Fran

Well, I'm sure some give some to charities...but $18M in a league with 20-some teams, where a number of them folded up shop?

Oh okay. Come on, let's not be this stupid, people.

Default Actually, it does work...

If someone comes on board for a $5,000 package, then the team prints 5,000 discount cards that are used during the game. The sponsor then designates where those cards are donated to. The donor can then sell the cards and keep them for fundraising...

Well from the first ever Kreatures game last night, attendance was about 800.
