Default WNBA opening weekend

How did opening weekend go for all you WNBA fans? The NY Liberty came up short to the Conn. Sun, 77-63. Bummer!

Default Liberty

Yeah, total bummer. Was out, missed the game, but just read the recap at ESPN.com..

Atleast Moore preformed well, and Christon scored 14. They'll step it up.

Default Liberty Game Tonight

Is anyone else excited about the Liberty vs. Washington game tonight? I'm bummed, I wanted to head over to NY to see it but I'm swamped at work.

Catch,

You really missed out! The Liberty were SICK on Thursday, winning their first game of the season..can't say they performed well on Sunday..but Friday we'll come back and beat the Suns!

Default Liberty Game

By the way, at the game last week they were giving out info about an upcoming Liberty event, like an outdoor bball game. I found the link when I got home: http://www.wnba.com/liberty/news/out...ssic_2008.html
It looks like NY Liberty vs. Indiana Fever. Not sure of all the details, but apparently its the first pro bball game ever to be played outside! I don't know if it's a charity function or anything, but I knwo the game counts towards season records. I'm thinking about getting a group together to go..Not sure how expensive it is..
