Question Can Vermont Compete Outside the ABA

I was looking at Vermont's schedule:
http://www.vermontfrostheaves.com/schedule/

and they have played the following teams this year ...

Montreal Royal
Quebec City Kebekwa
Halifax Rainman
Corning Bulldogs
Westchester Phantoms
Manchester Millrats
Boston Blizzard
New Jersey Express

It could possibly raise the question ...

Even though the Frost Heaves have an impressive 24-4 record ...

Could they compete outside the ABA?

And if so ... Do they have aspirations, to do, just that?

At best they would be a .500 team if they played CBA and PBL teams.

Of those teams in the CBA and PBL ... Which teams would the Frost Heaves match up pretty well against?

I can't speak for the PBL, but agree with A1's assessment that we would be .500 team in the CBA. If we made the jump I assume we would bring in a few different players.

We could probably beat Atlanta, Albany, Butte, Great Falls, and Rio Grande, and give the others a game and occasionally beat them.
