No, and the league WAS planning on bussing in the Omaha refs again. But I called them up and offered to cover the cost myself, as long as I got to choose the refs. Looking to penny pinch, they said yes, and I'm paying for the Fever refs to go!!!!!!

Haha jk. I would assume it is the Omaha refs again? They did the last two Storm home games right?

Yea, I'm pretty sure they did. They call a pretty fair game I have to say, seemed like 1 of 2 things happened in the second half of the Lehigh game and the first half of the GB game. Either 1, they got a phone call and said "dont let SF score 100 on Lehigh" & "Keep GB in it in the first half" or 2, SF was disinterested in the 2nd half of the Lehigh game and just flat at the start of the GB game. I'm guessing the later but the conspiracy theorist in me says maybe, just maybe...

That was awful nice of you to pick up the tab for the refs...that had to be a pretty penny. Whatever it takes to win though right? Some might say youve taken page from SF's book.

I hope after the game nobody has any reason to come on here and play the ref card when their team lost. I get so tired of that story. In some cases true, but in most not even an issue, but someone always seems to bring it up.

Regardless the outcome, I can make a personal promise that I will not be one of those guys. If you play good enough football the refs should never be able to decide a game for you.

Why do you say it may be the last storm game and tailgating ever?

The Omaha crew's calls (after further review) have been pretty even. There are a few questionable missed calls, but they calls they make are legit.

Last season's championship game was officiated by the crew from Wichita. But they did not do the playoffs.

1. Just some comments made at the end of a very emotionally draining season made by Mr Tryon using terms like "business decision"...and

2. It's indoor football. I never assume a game will happen until the ball gets kicked..

Well one thing Tryon has proven is he knows how to build a winner. When he took over I think we all kind of stood back and took a wait and see approach.. 3 championship games in 3 years of ownership is pretty sharp. Now a chance to cap off a perfect season and back to back championships. Would you blame him if you road off into the sun set? My sources tell me that he is looking to clean house and start over with local talent. The question is what league. The IFL is quickly turning into a bush league. Problem is nothing better out there, yet.. Things will get interesting real soon but first things first, BACK TO BACK!

Yup, in fact, I found a van to drive them there. Found it in a lake in SF.
