Default Does any FL club have 5 solid starters in 2012?

It looks like the Schaumburg Boomers have 4 reliable starters right now: Donovan, Roth , Penny and Watkins.

From the blog “Wild about Things” (one of the best on FL topics), there is a good analysis about starting pitching @ http://wildthingsblog.blogspot.com/2...1_archive.html

Included is a list of 2011 ” Quality starts”, defined as at least six innings pitched and no more than three earned runs allowed, by team.

Quality Starts by Team in 2011
*59 - Washington

48 - Normal
47 - River City
42 - Florence
41 - Joliet
39 - Lake Erie
36 - Gateway
36 - Southern Illinois
35 - Rockford
34 - Traverse City
31 - Evansville

Probably should mention, the analysis reinforces the obvious: teams need both good pitching and hitting to win.

Washington finished last in team batting average and 5th in the East division even with good pitching..

Joliet and River City had both good pitching and batting and became League Champions and Runner-Up.
